The club confirmed their first game will take place at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months since relocating for construction to commence.

Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside under the licence granted. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.
Barcelona held a public practice at the Camp Nou in early November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
