The surprise role-playing game by Sandfall Interactive earned the esteemed Top Game award, along with prizes for Superb Storytelling and Excellence in Visuals.
Adding to the developer's success, the gifted performers also received individual awards. Jennifer English won Top Lead Actor for her role as Maelle, while Ben Starr earned Supporting Performance Award for his acting as Verso. Additionally, Sandfall Interactive itself received Top Studio. Altogether, Clair Obscur and its developers won 7 awards throughout the show.
Other major winners featured Ghost of Yōtei, which was awarded Best Audio Design and Best Console Game, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, winning Best Indie Game (Self-Published) and PC Game of the Year.
